Kayak Fishing at Shamrock Cove

Fishing from kayaks must be the fastest growing way to enjoy the sport. Try it once and you’ll see why. There is no better way to truly become part of your surroundings than to experience the great outdoors from a kayak.

I recently had the pleasure of trying it for the first time and absolutely loved it! I expected it to be kind of grueling but it was very relaxing. You really feel an intimacy with nature, like you are a part of it. It also allows you to fish waters that no boat or wade fisherman can get to.

Shamrock Cove is an excellent place for kayak fishing. It’s a very well preserved fishery because of the extremely shallow water. Many parts of it are only accessible by kayak and kayaks are very easy on the environment.
